Indications:

1.Treatment of discomfort caused by excessive gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract, such as bloating; may also be used postoperatively.
2.Used as an auxiliary agent for abdominal imaging examinations (e.g., X-ray, ultrasound, gastroscopy) and as an additive for double-contrast radiography.

Administration:

For gastrointestinal discomfort caused by gas accumulation:

Infants: 1 ml (equivalent to 25 drops) mixed with bottled food, administered before or after breastfeeding.

Children aged 1–6 years: 1 ml (25 drops) 3–5 times daily.

Children aged 6–14 years: 1–2 ml (25–50 drops) 3–5 times daily.

Adolescents and adults: 2 ml (50 drops) 3–5 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Simethicone emulsion may be taken during or after meals, or before bedtime if needed. The treatment duration depends on symptom progression and may be used long-term if necessary. Not for postoperative use.

For imaging examination preparation:

Take 2 ml (50 drops) three times the day before the examination.

Take 2 ml (50 drops) on the morning of the examination, or as directed by a physician.
If a single dose exceeds 2 ml, reversible precipitation due to acidity may occur.

As an additive for contrast agents:

Add 4–8 ml of Simethicone Emulsion to the contrast agent for double-contrast radiography.
Note: Shake well before use. Invert the bottle to dispense drops.
